GAP Ministries provides a wide range of services to support the community’s physical and spiritual well-being, particularly those facing hardships. Their key services include a food pantry on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., assistance obtaining birth certificates and photo IDs, prescription assistance, diaper, and incontinence products, counseling on health insurance and Medicaid, and spiritual support.

The Augusta Housing Authority provides a housing assistance application process and a waiting list for placement.

United Way of the CSRA provides access to food, clothing, shelter, rent, and utility assistance. In addition, United Way offers physical and mental health resources, including crisis intervention, support groups, health insurance programs, maternal health, rehabilitation services, job training, financial assistance, transportation, and educational programs. Additionally, they offer services for elderly persons with disabilities, etc.

Golden Harvest addresses food insecurities in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) by working with partner agencies, programs, and direct services. Golden Harvest does not provide direct access to food at their Augusta or Aiken warehouses or their Faith Food Factory. To find help, enter your zip code in their food finder or visit them at The Master’s Table for a hot meal served daily from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., located at 702 Fenwick St., Augusta, GA. SNAP assistance is also provided through Golden Harvest.
